Anna-Maria Nikolova is a girl who likes painting and dreams of becoming an actress and perhaps becoming the first successful actress-artist. One part of her plan is supported by the magnificent paintings, influenced by impressionism, which will make you reflect. Anna-Maria paints the things that are important to her inner world which is so rich and expressive that it cannot leave you indifferent.

Anna-Maria Nikolova was born on September 8, 2005 in Sofia, the capital of her native Bulgaria. She started drawing and painting at the age of 3 and at 4 already had her art at art exhibits. In 2015 one of her paintings won a silver medal at an art competition in Tokyo, Japan. In 2017 Anna Maria had her first individual exhibit in Sofia and The Saatchi gallery in London picked two of her paintings for their online project.

Vassil Mirtchev

I am thrilled to announce that this portrait is one of the awarded from the Arts Activation Fund for Corona Memorial within the City of Los Angeles.

This is a portrait оf  Mr. Vassil Mirtchev, a prominent Bulgarian entrepreneur and philanthropist, who passed way from COVID-19 at the age of 61. Mr.Mirchev was a close friend of my father.

I created this portrait in order to participated in the the project “Arts Activation Fund for Corona Memorial”, organized by the City of Los Angeles, Department of Cultural Affairs.

Mr. Mirchev was the founder, Chairman of the board of directors, and CEO of VM Finance Group, one of the largest businesses in Bulgaria. He was a generous supporter of charity activities, arts, and social initiatives.  He was the father of two children.

It is a great honor to be warded from the Ars Activation Fund.
