Anna-Maria is an emerging expressionist painter. Born in Bulgaria, Anna-Maria is living in London and studying Fine Art, Graphic Design, and Photography at Fine Arts College.
Early on her journey into painting, Anna-Maria was discovered as a promising talent by the prominent artist and collector Svetlin Russev, who started personally following and guiding her development.
At only eleven years old, Saatchi Gallery picked “La Promenade “and “Le Pere Dobry ” to be displayed as a part of the Saatchi Digital Project.
In June 2017, Anna-Maria had her first individual exhibition that brought together an exciting body of work in Sofia. In June 2018, a solo exhibition opened in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, where the young Anna-Maria debuted thirty of her bold paintings. Anna-Maria’s particular style of painting has been winning praise from many around the world, including that of Paula Ustinov, daughter of the late actor Peter Ustinov. She says, “Her sense of composition is brilliant and her choice of colors is amazingly mature. I am extremely impressed!”
In October 2019, she participated with her painting “Woman” in an exhibition in Milan, supporting the campaign for the International Day against the violence of Women.
Since 2019, Anna-Maria has created yearly calendars with twelve paintings she sells for charity purposes. All the money from the sold calendars is donated to “Eyes on Four Paws”- the only organization that teaches and provides service dogs to help blind people.
In October 2022 Anna-Maria opened her Debut UK Exhibition entitled “The Hidden Inside” inspired by love and the excitement of Life at “Sofia” Gallery, Bulgarian Cultural Institute London.
